Summit Meetings
"Kick the Dirt" field trip in Feb 2009, which led to the Bicycle Concept Plan.
After publication of the Vision Plan in May 2008, Ted and Linda set up a series of Summit Meetings, attended by key individuals from the following agencies:
- Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT)
- Oregon State Parks Department (OSPD)
- Metro Parks & Greenspaces
- Portland Parks and Recreation (PP&R)
While all the agencies expressed an interest in being involved, there was some question about which should be the lead agency. In order to help decide what level of involvement each of the park agencies would have, it was suggested that project supporters develop a more detailed Bicycle Concept Plan.
